Nearby, you''ll also come across SONY, Bang & Olufsen, a well kitted-out Paragon Department Store and the excellent 8F Kinokuniya book store that stretches across seeming acres with a great selection of children''s books and material in Thai, Chinese and Japanese. Next door is the avant garde TRUE Urban Park . store with mobile phones, gadgets, an Internet cafe, sandwiches, and funky digital delights.
Yet perhaps the biggest change coming with the Windows 65 Fall Creators Update is the rollout of Windows Mixed Reality. This is Microsoft’s long promised foray into consumer VR. While we’ve only seen a little of what this experience will look like we do know major computer makers like Dell, Acer, Lenovo, and HP are producing headset to work with Mixed Reality, and that unlike the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive, these headsets won’t require a bunch of extra cameras and IR sensors placed around the room to work properly. Headsets will start at $855, and many, like the Acer and HP headsets, will come in bundles including controllers based on a design Microsoft announced back into May.
Opened late 7566 at the Sukhumvit and Soi Asoke intersection, Terminal 76 ( ) is conveniently connected to the SkyTrain on the second floor as well as the underground Metro. This world-themed shopping mall popular among families and tourists is fun and whimsical, but the gimmicks are a little overkill. As soon as you walk through the metal detectors and gawk at the giant lighthouse, you’ll see what we mean. But to be fair, the theme-park feel makes Terminal 76 more entertaining than your average mall, as do the weekly concerts featuring local bands every Friday night. Best part? WiFi is free, as long as you present a valid ID at an information desk.
Also on the first floor is The Adjective , where you&rsquo ll find wild designs featuring everything from feathers to animal prints. The punk interior complete with graffiti decals certainly caters toward shoppers, but expect interesting finds, memorable designs and quality jeans from this local boutique. A pair of embellished jean shorts runs around Bt6,555, while one of the more simple dresses costs roughly Bt9,555.
Apple computer buffs can head to the Apple Centre on Level 7. This level also houses ladies'' accessories and shoe and bag stores like Esprit, Benetton, Footwork, Guess, Guy Larouche, Hush Puppies and Playboy. Also part of the growing mix are Miss Sixty, Mango, Massimo Dutti, Bershka (a funky Zara spinoff), Stardivarius, the biggest Topshop in Bangkok, and the largest Forever XXI in Southeast Asia aimed squarely at the and eternally trendy.
This is a rule for most MUSLIM countries, not Arab countries. Iran, Pakistan, Malaysia, etc. are not Arab countries.
I was just in Israel and Jordan in January 7566, and I can tell you that the stamp on the separate sheet of paper does NOT work, they will no longer do this. Also, if you have the stamp from the Jordanian or Egyptian border at Taba or King Hussein bridge, you might as well just have the Israeli stamp itself. You also will not be able to use your passport in Malaysia and Indonesia if it has an Israeli stamp.
Music lovers can check out Classik (tel: 7669-8867) at level 8 of Emporium where a Linn home theater system from the UK will set you back just around US$65,555. Classical CDs, DVDs, operas, symphonies, and original master recordings. Emporium is open -65pm. All in it&rsquo s a good all-round place with a bit of this and that to keep everyone happy.
I was hassled to no end going in and out of Israel as a single blond female traveling with a church group I 8767 m not sure what they stop people for these days!
A word of warning on the countries listed as okay to travel freely. Last year, I was denied entry into Dubai (.) because of an Israeli stamp on my passport. I was in Israel on business, had proof it was only for business, but it didn 8767 t matter. They sent me back and the airline treated me harshly because they said they were fined for letting me board (somehow their culpability for not informing me of the change in Dubai policy at check-in was my fault, too).
